Voluntary Work

The School Fodder Garden Project students are involved in growing plants at school which are then harvested by the Horticulture staff for the animals at the zoo.

Library

We visit the Library every 2 weeks. We borrow some books or dvds or cds that interest us. We also access the internet.

Shopping

We write our shopping list with the ingredients we need for our recipe of the week. Each person has a budget for their list and put their money in a sealed bag. We catch the train to the shops. At the checkout we check our change. Then we take the train back to Ashfield and put our groceries away.

B2 Cooking Program

After completing the shopping for the planned meal of the week everyone enjoys the cooking and especially the eating afterwards. Did I mention the dishes and cleaning up!
