Shaylee has been thriving at her WPL placement at Sparx ELC. She loves spending time with the younger daycare children, reading stories and creating fun, engaging activities for them to enjoy. This National Reconciliation Week we’re supporting education, language and wellbeing programs for First Nations children and families. We’re wearing yellow to raise awareness and funds for Children’s Ground who work alongside communities so that First Nations children can grow up knowing who they are, speaking their first language and having every opportunity to thrive.

Shaylee is thriving in her Cert II Salon Assistant course at TAFE! Her dedication and positive attitude shine through, and she consistently shows a strong drive to improve her skills in the salon environment. Shaylee is building confidence while mastering essential salon skills including colour application, blow dries, and understanding important health and safety procedures.
From tidying the store, caring for plants, and helping keep everything looking neat and welcoming, our Work Placement students have been building valuable workplace skills every week.
