Lest We Forget On Wednesday 22 April, Cyril Jackson Senior Campus Education Support Centre hosted an ANZAC Day Service that was attended by staff and students of our Centre and Cyril Jackson Senior Campus. Our local RSL member George Dickinson was a special guest at this year’s service and we thank him for his attendance.
Today we celebrated the cultural diversity at our school and the vibrance this brings our community. Staff and students wore something to represent their cultural heritage and listened to beautiful music from around the world. Staff also enjoyed a delicious spread of traditional dishes from various countries
Mac and Khurram have been busy making a real difference at their work placement with Dreambuilders Midland! They’ve been working hard behind the scenes stocking fresh fruit, veggies, and bread for the community supermarket, helping ensure everything is ready for those who need it. Kody has started his new work placement at Bunnings Warehouse Australia and is already making a fantastic progress. From pricing stock to keeping shelves organised, he’s getting hands-on experience and building valuable workplace skills every day. It’s been great to see his confidence grow as he learns new tasks and becomes part of the team.
