At Cyril Jackson SC ESC, we prioritise effective communication with parents and provide various channels to keep you informed. These include termly newsletters, Facebook updates, and the school website. In addition, we are committed to being responsive to phone calls, meeting requests and emails as we believe that communication is essential for building positive and productive relationships with our families.

Your child’s class teacher will keep you informed of important dates, events, and other relevant information via various communication tools, such as Consent2Go, Emails, MGM Msg, phone calls etc. Depending on the nature of the communication required.

Reports - IEPS/ITPS

Formal student progress reports are completed by teachers at the end of each semester.  This report will give an indication of how your child is progressing in the achievement of their IEP goals which are collaboratively written by you and your child’s invested stakeholders. Reports are emailed to parents at the end of each semester and you will be able to access your child’s report on our Connect platform.

Parent / Teacher Meetings

Parent/Teacher meetings are an excellent opportunity to discuss your child’s progress. You will be invited in to meet with your teacher at least twice per term. These meetings can happen on Teams/Zoom teleconferencing etc if you are unable to get into school.

Parent Contact Details

It is crucial that we have up to date contact information for all parents in case of an emergency involving your child. Please contact the school if Change of Details are needed and ensure that we are aware of any changes to your contact details.
