The Support@bility group provides parents with an opportunity to network and learn from each other, as well as listen to guest speakers sharing up to date information on issues such as: NDIS, Service Providers, Transition from School to Adult Life, Accessing the Community for Leisure and Recreation and Health & Well Being.
Support@bility sessions are catered events and have proved extremely popular in increasing parent knowledge to make informed choices when their child leaves school. During the year Cyril Jackson ESC hosts several organisations and providers who work within the NDIS realm. We invite providers such as Disability Employment Services (i.e. Good Sammy’s), Australian Disability Enterprises (i.e. Work Power) alongside providers who support School Leavers with Employment Solutions (i.e. Bizlink, Edge, Essential Personnel). Parents gain valuable insight and knowledge about what these services can offer to support their children with their transition from school to life after school.
Support sessions are held each Term, please to refer to our 2024 Calendar for dates.
