Our students have been learning about Spanish Artist Pablo Picasso and his use of bold, abstract portraits in their art class at the @cyril_jackson_senior_campus with the fabulous art teacher Dee George.
Students have transferred their designs onto canvas using carbon paper. They then chose a selection of vibrant colours to paint their Picasso inspired abstract faces- focusing on pattern and shape.
Bold, black outlines have bought the work to life. Students enjoyed the process as well as learning about the Elements and Principles that make up a successful artwork.
Dee commented – “It was a joy to work with these students!”
Well Done!!
